Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta is said to be recovering pretty fast after he was diagnosed of coronavirus last week, Sky Sports has reported.
A club source was quoted as saying that the Spaniard is “feeling much better” and has since started planning and communicating with his players.
Arsenal had on Friday reopened the club’s training facilities to staff who were temporary asked to stop work in the wake of the Arteta news.
In a related development, Chelsea forward, Hudson Odoi is on his way to full recovery after being the second football personality after Arteta to test positive to COVID-19.
In a statement in the club’s website, Odoi’s coach, Frank Lampard expressed satisfaction with his rate of recovery so far.
“I’m happy to say that, in Callum’s case, he has made great progress and almost feels his usual self, which is obviously the news we all want to hear,” Lampard was quoted as saying.
