The president of the United States of America has taken a swipe at China over the recent claim that US was responsible for the outbreak of coronavirus.
In a tweet in the early hours of Tuesday, Trump referred to COVID- 19 as Chinese virus. While trying to calm nerves with reported cases of the virus in US rising to over 4,000, Trump noted that “The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!”
This tweet is the latest of what has become war of words between the two countries since the outbreak of the virus with China insisting that it has evidence that the US was responsible for the virus which has, so far, claimed many lives in Asia, Europe and North America.
