The Nigerian government has suspended activities in the Aminu International Airport, Kano, Akanu Ibiam International Airprt, Enugu and Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has said.
The Director-General of the agency said that the closure of these airports is a strategic measure by the government to contain the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
This closure leaves the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and the Nnamdi Azukiwe Airpor, Abuja as the only airports that will be open and operational for passengers.
