FG places travel bans on China, US, UK, 10 others as COVID-19 cases rise to 12

The Nigeria government has placed travel ban on China, Iran, South Korea, Germany, Italy, United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Spain, France, and Japan. This, the government said is to help curtail the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. The government equally suspended its visa-on-arrival policy.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government has announced four new cases of Coronavirus. The Commissioner for Health in the state, Prof Akin Abayomi, announced this in a press conference on Thursday.

This brings the confirmed cases reported in Nigeria to 12.
