The Lagos State governor, Babatunde Sanwo-olu has called for calm as the state battle the spread of coronavirus.
The governor said this while briefing newsmen on the COVID- 19 update in the company of the Commisioner of Health, Professor Akinola Abayomi. The governor maintained that there is no cause for alarm, advising people to stop sharing and acting on fake news. He also asked the Lagos residence to desist from panic buying and help the health workers by maintaining social space. As part of the measure to ensure torable spaces are kept between individuals, the BRT buses, the governor said, will no longer be allowed to carry above the 47 passengers’ capacity
