The publisher of Sahara Reporters and the presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 general election, Omoyele Sowore has called for a “pot pans protest” against the Nigerian government from 25th of April to 2nd of May.
Sowore who made this known on his Twitter handle on Thursday blamed the hunger that characterize the lockdown on the incompetence, greed and corruption by government.
His tweet reads: “#RevolutionNow Pots are empty, plates are empty and the stomach is very empty! Bang your pot at home, don’t let hunger kill you at home because of their greed, corruption and incompetence”.
Recall that Sowore was recently released on bail after been held in DSS custody for several months for what the government saw as call for unconstitutional change of leadership.
