Following the incredible growth of irokotv ,the owner Jason Njoku said that in the last five years the company has commissioned ,acquired and produced $25m in contents..
Jason made this known via his twitter account Friday morning.
He further explained that only 20% of revenues come from Nigeria but added that 90% of that company profit is spent in Nigeria.
This revelation is coming at a time the private sector is mounting pressure on the government to ease some of the stringent tax measures to aid the growth of business entities in the country.
The federal government had last year increased Value Added Tax (VAT) from 5% to 7.5%, a move which has been criticized by investors in the entertainment and other private sector driven businesses.
