Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has alleged that Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has been compromised after the body called off its planned strike that was scheduled for today.
In a two separate tweets on his social media handle, Adeyanju fingered the fear of President Buhari and “money changing hands” as factors responsible for Labour to calingl off strike without the Government meeting any of their demand.
“They have compromised. They fear Buhari so much. No solid agreement reached.
So after 2-weeks suspension of electricity tariff, what next? So, this fuel price is okay, right?”
“Immediately I saw the Dollar Guy in that Labour meeting, I became worried,” he concluded.
