Former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has accused Omoyele Sowore of turning against President Buhari because he was excluded from his administration’s first ministerial list in 2015.
Sowore, the Presidential Candidate of African Action Congress in the last general elections, was one of the key supporter of President Buhari in the build-up to the 2015 general elections.
He fell out with the President over what he said gross incompetence and gross violations of democratic principles.
Omokri has, however, brought another version as to the circumstances surrounding the the sour relationship between Sowore and the President.
“It was not until General @MBuhari released his ministerial list on October 1, 2015, that Omoyele Sowore, @YeleSowore, began to fight Buhari via @SaharaReporters. He saw that he had been deceived and his name was not on the list. That was the end of the romance!
“I am actually surprised that Omoyele Sowore, @YeleSowore, could think he could come at me. Is it because I was gentle under @GEJonathan? I am a meticulous record keeper. No overrated hired blackmailer can threaten me to produce evidence and not get a shocker!” Omokri tweeted.
