Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has berated the Nasarawa State Government for spending N500 million on cars even when the state does not have a single ventilator.
SERAP made this revelation on Thursday through its twitter handle.
It argued that spending of N500 million to buy 24 cars for lawmakers at this time COVID-19 is ravaging the country is a case of conflict of interest.
“Nasarawa authorities spending N500m to buy 24 cars for lawmakers at a time of COVID-19 and while the state has no single ventilator is a textbook case of conflict of interests.
We’ll hold Gov Abdullahi Sule to account for the breach of constitutional code of conduct”.
