Since the start of the ongoing #EndSARS protests, there has been questions as regards the stance Northern youths over what many see as of deafening silence.
Thes questions are beginning to get some answers after Arewa Youths Consultative Council made it clear, in its letter to President Muhammadu Buhari that was made public of Saturday, that they are not favourably disposed to the protest.
The group made its stance known in the letter that they are in support of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) which has been a subject of protest since last week, stating that the allegation of brutalities levelled against the group is a mere human mistake.
The group asked President Muhammadu Buhari to disregard the protesters as their calls are unpatriotic, reckless and callous.
The group argued that it cannot be a party to scrapping of a police unit which has been combatting crimes in the North.
