Rivers records first coronavirus case
  • Nigeria now has total of 51 cases

Rivers has joined the growing list of states in Nigeria with confirmed coronavirus case.

An update from NCDC as at 11:25 pm 25th March, Nigeria now has 51 confirmed cases as it recorded 5 new cases of coronavirus . Two of the new cases are in FCT, two in Lagos and one in Rivers State.

Out of the new cases recorded 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria while 2 are close contacts of a confirmed case.

Below is a breakdown of the Nigeria’s COVID- 19 situation:

Lagos- 32
FCT- 10
Ogun- 3
Ekiti- 1
Oyo- 1
Edo- 1
Bauchi-1
Osun-1
Rivers- 1

Total: 46 confirmed cases
