Police officer allegedly threatens to shoot #EndSARS protesters in Owerri

– Runtown, Falz lead Lagos protest.

There was drama in Owerri, the Imo State capital, when a police Superintendent identified as Obioma Obi assaulted protesters, threatening to shoot them for taking part in the protest against police brutality.

In a viral video making round on Thursday, the police officer was seen viciously throwing punches on one the protesters.

Owerri is one of the cities that witnessed #EndSARS protests that has lasted a second day.

In Abuja, Former candidate of African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, Deji, Adeyanju, Aisha Yesufu were seen at the Force Headquarters were they led protesters to demand an end to SARS.

Lagos was not left out as popular musicians, Runtown and Falz were seen leading protesters to the state office of Nigeria Police.

The activities of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) have been riddled with tales of injustices, brutalities and extortions.
