Nigeria”s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has been flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates to receive medical attention over for a persistent neck pain.
Thisday quoted one of the aides of the Nigerian First Lady as confirming that she was flown to Dubai eight days ago.
The source, the news platform said, revealed the First Lady had been complaining of neck pain for several weeks and decided to seek help abroad following the ineffectiveness of drugs prescribed by her Nigerian doctors.
The neck pain was said to have deteriorated shortly after she returned to Abuja from a trip to Lagos in July after visiting Florence, the widow of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died of COVID-19 complications on June 25.
Another source close to the First Lady has, however, doused the tension by confirming that she is very stable and was only placed on close medical observation.
Presidency is yet to release official statement on this but, in its characteristic manner, is expected to keep the matter under wrap as have been the case with personal issues concerning the President.
