Ndubisi Egbo set to become 1st African to coach UEFA Champions League team

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ndubuisi Egbo, now has a date with history as he is on the line to become the first African to take an European club to the continent’s biggest football competition, UEFA Champions League.

Egbo, on Sunday, becams first Nigerian manager to win silverware with a topflight European club, leading FK Tirana to the Albania league title.

The former Rangers International and 2002 AFCON goalkeeper will be aiming for a double as Tirana are in the final of the Albania Cup.

Baring any surprise, Egbo will be sitting in the dugout when Tirana starts their campaign in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.
