Former Nigeria captain, Mikel Obi, is set for a move to Championship side, Stoke City.
The former Chelsea midfielder who became a free agent after terminating his contract with Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor in March, will have his medical by the beginning of next week.
He is expected to sign a one-year-deal with the Potters who also parades Super Eagles midfielder enforcer, Oghenekaro Etebo.

Mikel had been linked with a move to West Ham United and Premier League new boys, West Bromwich Albion but is now expected to pilot Potter’s push for a return to English football summit.
