The prelude to the 2023 presidential election has continued to gather momentum.
Not wanting to allow the dust raised by the call of Mamman Daura favourable disposition to competence over zoning to settle and swallow it up, the people of Southeast region have since seized every available opportunity to drum support for Igbo Presidency.
The former Governors of Imo and Abia States, Senator Rochas Okorocha and Orji Uzor Kalu have chosen not to be left out.
Both men on Thursday met in Abuja and decided to reunite of Igbo elites ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.
The meeting which took place in the residence of First Vice National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) South East, Dr Julius Anyim Nyerere in Abuja, decided to allow the two senators to drive the region in the same manner the former leader Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu and politicians like Jim Nwobodo, Arthur Nzeribe, and many others did.
Kalu, on his own, ensued for peace in the APC political family in the South East, adding that he wiill make move to reconcile current governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodimma, and Rochas Okorocha.
