The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nation, Prophet TB Joshua has said that he will not open the church untill God speaks to him.
The pastor disclosed this in a telecast on Emmanuel TV after the Lagos State Government approved the lifting of the ban on places of worship from August 7
“Good morning and win today! Following the announcement that church services will resume in Lagos on August 9 – that is, this coming Sunday – I wish to commend the authorities for their efforts so far,” the prophet said.
The fiery prophet assured his members that the church will be open for worship as soon as God tells to him to do so.
“However, having heard from the authorities, we are now waiting to hear from God. Please be assured that as soon as we hear from God, we will inform you when our services will resume. Emmanuel – God is with us,” he concluded.
Recall that Federal Government placed a ban on opening of worship centers due to Covid-19.
This ban was lifted by Federal Government on just 7, but left it at the discretion of the state governments to determine when to open in their various states.
Lagos State, however, chose to delay opening of worship centers as Covid-19 infections in the state surged.
