Super Eagles midfielder enforcer, Wilfred Ndidi has bemoaned the last Sunday loss to Manchester United which knocked Leicester City out of the remaining UEFA Champions League spot.
The English Premier League top tackler was, however, quick to note that the season was a huge success for his team.
“We are a bit disappointed to finish 5th.
“But overall. It was a great season!! I want to first of all thank our fans for being with us even when the stadiums were empty due to the pandemic, it was indeed a season to learn from and grow into next season thanks for support,” Ndidi said in a Twitter post.
