The former Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has threatened to dump the People’s Democratic Party for another political party if its National Working Committee takes away the party structure from the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade.
In a series of tweets posted on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode said it would be a big mistake for NWC to take the party’s structures from a sitting governor hand them over to another party member.

He said that If this is done, the governor will certainly leave the party with all his supporter and threatened to also join him in solidarity.
“You cannot and must not undermine a sitting Governor or attempt to humiliate him in his own state and before his people. Some of those that are advocating & behind this nonsense would never allow it to happen in their own states. A word is enough for the wise,” he tweeted.
It would be a big mistake for the NWC of the @OfficialPDPNig to take the party structures in his state away from Ben Ayaade,Gov. of Cross Rivers state,& hand them over to anyone else.If this is done &Ayaade leaves the party be rest assured that many of us will leave with him.1/3
