As #EndSARS call echoes from shore to shore of Nigeria, and beyond,Nigeria’s midfielder and Leicester City defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has lended his voice to the cacophony voices around the world that are demanding for the disbandment of Nigeria Police unit whose activities have left tears in the eyes of many youths.
The midfielder who took to his Twitter handle to make the call revealed that he and other Nigerian youths abroad are afraid to come back because they fear that they might lose their lives to SARS brutalities.
He further wondered why looking good with dreadlocks have become a crime in Nigeria.
“#EndSARS for the safety of Nigerians… we are scared to visit home because the people who are meant to protect us are killing us. Looking good with dreads is not a crime,” he said.
