Nigeria, for the first time since the outbreak of COVID-19 within its shores, recorded a triple digit of new cases in 24 hours.
Numbers from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control shows that the country recorded 117 new cases of COVID-19 on 21st of April.
Lagos led the numbers with 59 new cases while Abuja followed with 29. Kano is beginning to emerge as a major concern with 14 new cases.
