Factional Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo loyal to Governor Obaseki, Anselm Ojezua says he will not be leaving the party with the governor.
Ojezua, in a telephone chat with Vanguard reporter on Tuesday said he intend staying back in APC to complete his tenure.
“I won’t move. As you can see, I still have my mandate as the elected party chairman of APC in Edo which expires by 2020, and I intend to complete that mandate,” he said.
Obaseki, on Tuesday afternoon, resigned his membership of the APC after he was disqualified from contesting the party’s primaries in a move the faction of the party loyal to him saw an acted script of the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole.
