Nigeria’s main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has said that Buhari’s five years in leadership has not recorded any positive achievement.
The party made this assertion in statement it put out on its Twitter handle on Friday morning.
It lamented that for five years of Buhari’s administration, Nigeria has been plagued with acute corruption, indebtedness, insecurity, lockdowns, curfews, dictatorship and nepotism.
The party went further to berate the All Progressive Congress administration, referring to it as “scam and 419 government”.
Today makes it five years President Buhari was sworn in to assume the responsibility of leading the country.
Prior to change the President made in 2018 which makes June 12 Democracy Day in Nigeria, May 29 has always been celebrated as Democracy day since 1999 when the military handed over to a democratic elected government.
