President Muhammadu Buhari, late Tuesday afternoon in Abuja, held a virtual meeting with Members of the Economic Advisory Council (PEAC) at the Council Chambers State House.
In the meeting were the Vice President, Professor Yomi Osibanjo, Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari and PEAC Chairman, Professor Doyin Salami.
Also part of the meeting were Professor Chukwuma Soludo, renowned economist, Mr. Bismark Rewane and Dr. Mohammed Sagagi.
Source close to the President says the meeting was an advanced extension of the consultations aimed at implementing new ecenomiic strategies that will bail Nigeria out of the difficulties it is currently experiencing.
The meeting is expected to offer professional advise on the documented submitted to the President by his Vice President which is expected to turn the country’s COVID-19 challenges into growth opportunities.
