BREAKING: Magu regains freedom

The suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has been released.

Magu has been in detention for the past seven days after he was invited to Presidential Villa to answer questions over allegations of corruption levelled against him by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation.

President Buhari had set up a panel led by Retired Justice Ayo Salami to thoroughly investigate the allegations against Magu who has seized every available opportunity to maintain that he is innocent.

The panel is yet to release official report to the President but information from source close to Presidency said that their might be massive shake up in the commission Magu is not cleared of the allegations.
