Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has resigned his membership of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Kebbi State, Mai Malla Buni, made this disclosure after both met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buni told pressmen that the Dogara is now “a member of APC.”
Dogora, a founder member of the APC, abandoned the party on the eve of the 2019 general elections, leading many members of the House of Representatives to the opposition People’s Democratic Party.
