Nigeria on Tuesday reported 11,188 COVID-19 recoveries.
The country’s disease management body, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control in its August 4 publication recorded that the country now has 31,851 fully-recovered coronavirus patients.
This was against 20,663 recorded on the 3rd of August, 2020.
This means that the country now has 11,673 active cases of the 910 that was reported is also factored on the said day.

Neither the NCDC nor the Ministry for Health have given reason for this drastic change in number which came as a welcome development to analysts who have also observed a gradual decline in the new cases reported on daily basis.
