– Says former Edo Gov plotting to return as party’s National Chairman
The Director General of Progressives Governors Forum, Salihu Luckman, has raised alarm over plot by some party leaders to return Adams Oshiomole as the All Progressives Congress National Chairman.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman of Caretaker and Convention Committee of the party, Mai Buni, Luckman accused Oshiomole of not approaching the Edo poll “as fair contest” is using the Edo Governorship Elections to foist his power on the party’s apparatus in the bid to use it to launch his return as its National Chairman.
“Everything is being done to ensure that the internal politics of the party is manipulated to create a situation whereby Oshiomhole is forcefully made a contender for the position of the national chairman at the extraordinary APC national convention,” he said.
