A US-based Nigerian legal luminary, Edirin Okoloko, has been sworn in as a judge of the Snohomish County Superior Court in Washington DC, USA.
Born to Nigerian parents from Delta State, Okoloko, is said to have carved a niche for himself in the judicial sector of the county and was expected to rise to the exalted position sooner than later.
He has now taken over from Judge George Bowden who retired recently.
Okoloko bagged his law degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria before moving to get another degree in law from the Seattle University School of Law.
