#EndSARS: Macaroni leads protesters to sleep on the street

Nigerian comedian, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Macaroni has taken his #EndSARS protest to another level when he mobilized protesters to sleep on the road leading to Lagos State House of Assembly.

It was perceived by many as one of his numerous comedies when he said that he should be called a bastard if he didn’t continue his protest overnight.

But the pictures the filtered in throughout the night showed that he lived up to his words and that came as a surprise to many.

Macaroni appreciated other protesters who kept the wake with him and maintained that they will continue being on the street.

“The heroes!!! Some of them you might or might not even know! But they have stayed up all night to send a message to the world! I hope the message is loud and clear!!!!
We still dey!!! ALUTA CONTINUA,” Macaroni said.

Many Nigerian youths have been amazed at such resistance and have been sending their solidarity to Macaroni and other protesters who slept on the street.

Deji Adeyanju praised his courage and berated Naira Marley who did all the talks and no action.

“This guy didn’t make one noise like Naira Marley, he just got up and stood all night to ensure the people demanding for #EndSARS were not intimidated. We will never forget this sacrifice. Never,” Deji said.
